As a Security Guard - Mornings - Experience Required in Florence, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. - Provide customer service to all visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, process visitor and vendor access, and document deliveries, pickups, and other site activity in support of security-related operations.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, gate areas, trailer yards, loading zones, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or unusual activity.
- Prepare accurate logs and reports related to access control events, incident activity, and policy violations while following post orders and client-directed procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
