Job Description Summary
Under general supervision, provides exceptional customer service and support for plan participants in 401(k), 403(b), and other qualified retirement plans. Utilizes knowledge and experience to educate participants on their retirement accounts, plan features, and available options, while assisting with problem resolution and document processing. Performs routine tasks in accordance with established procedures and exercises sound judgment in handling non-routine inquiries and service requests. Receives general guidance while maintaining responsibility for delivering accurate information and high-quality participant experience.Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Answer inbound calls
- Provide exceptional customer service information regarding 401(k), 403(b) or other qualified plans
- Educate participants about their retirement account and features
- Perform data entry and other administrative tasks
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of:
- 401(k) or other qualified retirement plans preferred, but not required
- Microsoft Office Suite with demonstrated proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Salesforce preferred, but not required
Skill in:
- Bilingual written and verbal communication (Spanish/English)
- Clear, concise, and professional verbal and written communication
Ability to:
- Multitask and manage priorities effectively
- Solve problems and make sound decisions
- Demonstrate initiative and a proactive approach
- Adapt to change in a dynamic environment
- Maintain quality and accountability for results
Educational/Previous Experience Requirements
- High School Degree or equivalent
OR
- Any equivalent combination of education, experience and/or training approved by Human Resources.
