No set schedule. On Call as needed based on applicant availability. AM 6:00am to 2:30pm, PM - 2:00pm to 10:30pm, and NOC - 10:00pm to 6:30am.Why Join Our Team?

What you bring to SBHG:
Education:
High School diploma or equivalent (e.g., GED, HiSET) required.
Associate degree in a social science field preferred.
Experience:
Six (6) months of direct care experience in a mental health setting preferred. (A non-professional, consumer-directed internship may be substituted.)
Certifications & Licensure:
Valid CPR, First Aid, and ProAct certifications are required within 30 days of employment.
Valid California Driver’s License and eligibility to meet agency driving criteria preferred.
How you will make a difference
Promotes and assists clients with self-help skills in the areas of eating, hygiene and grooming and other activities or nursing activities.
Monitors client’s attendance at assigned activities and maximizes client participation through appropriate motivational techniques.
Conducts and assists both large and small activity groups and outings independently but under the supervision of the Program Manager or his/her designee.
Encourages client’s interaction and socialization with other peers, providing feedback to clients on appropriate behavior while acting as a role model.
Accurate documents in writing each client’s attendance and response to activity and therapeutic groups or individual counseling in the individual medical record.
Attends and actively participates in Treatment Team meetings, as needed

24/7 inpatient voluntary program
16-bed facility for adults (ages 18-59)
Rehabilitation/recovery services, including substance use rehabilitation services
Pre-vocational or vocational counseling
Medication evaluation and support services
