Job Responsibilities:
We are seeking a Senior IT Technical BA Strategist to bridge the gap between business vision and technical execution by performing systems analysis, defining technical requirements, and supporting technical solution design for enterprise IT platforms. In this role, you will analyze complex business systems, design technical solutions, and map out application, data, and integration architecture for our enterprise IT platforms. You will work closely with senior executives and technical teams to understand business goals, evaluate system impacts and technical feasibility, and translate requirements into actionable technical specifications for engineering teams. Strong knowledge of finance-related enterprise systems, business processes, data flows, and system controls. Ability to understand compliance and audit requirements and translate them into system requirements, data controls, validation rules, and technical design considerations. Work with the project team on the replacement of the Dealer Financial Services system with an in-house application build, including analysis of current-state functionality, future-state system requirements, data flows, integration points, and technical design needs. Document and organize technical requirements, system workflows, data mappings, interface requirements, business rules, and design inputs needed to support application design and development work. Work with the team to identify technical risk issues, system dependencies, integration constraints, data impacts, compliance impacts, and implementation risks.

Core Responsibilities:

• Strategy: Align IT project roadmaps with technical implementation strategy, system architecture needs, application dependencies, and high-level corporate business goals
• Architecture: Design business and system workflows showing how applications, data, interfaces, APIs, and enterprise systems connect
• Requirements: Write clear technical specifications, system behavior requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and API mappings
• Collaboration: Act as the primary technical liaison between business leaders and engineers by analyzing requirements, clarifying system behavior, validating technical feasibility, and supporting solution design decisions
• Data Analysis: Analyze large databases, SQL queries, data flows, and system outputs to identify bottlenecks, data quality issues, performance trends, and downstream system impacts
• Validation: Define acceptance criteria and validation scenarios to ensure application functionality, data flows, integrations, and system behavior align with approved technical requirements
• Work with testing teams to validate requirement traceability, review test coverage for system workflows, data flows, APIs, and integrations, and support analysis of defects related to requirements or system behavior
• Technical Solution Analysis: Evaluate alternative technical solution approaches for the Dealer Financial Services replacement, including system design options, integration approaches, data migration considerations, and implementation impacts
• Current-State / Future-State Analysis: Analyze current Dealer Financial Services system functionality, interfaces, data flows, business rules, pain points, and technical constraints to define future-state application requirements
• Integration Design Support: Define and document integration requirements, API mappings, data exchange rules, interface dependencies, and downstream system impacts
• Technical Documentation: Create technical requirements documents, workflow diagrams, data flow diagrams, traceability matrices, and solution design artifacts supporting development, testing, and implementation
• Technical Risk Analysis: Identify technical risks related to data conversion, integrations, system dependencies, compliance controls, audit requirements, and implementation sequencing

Required Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• Experience: 5+ years of experience as a Technical BA, Systems Analyst, or similar role supporting enterprise application, system integration, or data workflow initiatives
• Technical Skills: Strong proficiency with SQL, REST APIs, data mapping, interface analysis, and system integration patterns
• Methodologies: Expert knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and SDLC, including requirements analysis, technical design, development support, testing, implementation, and release validation phases
• Tools: Advanced hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, Lucidchart, and Miro for technical requirements documentation, workflow modeling, data flow diagrams, and system design artifacts
• Soft Skills: Exceptional presentation skills and the ability to communicate technical requirements, system impacts, solution options, and implementation risks to stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications: CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or PMI-PBA
• Cloud Knowledge: Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud environments supporting enterprise applications, data platforms, APIs, or system integrations
• Data Visuals: Experience creating dashboards using Power BI or Tableau to analyze system performance, operational trends, data quality, or business process metrics
• A stable work history with large enterprise organizations

The hiring range for this position is $66.00 to $73.00 per hour, which factors in various geographic regions. The base pay rate actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
