About the Role
As Global HR Group Manager you will assume a central role at the interface between the Commercial business area and HR in an international pharmaceutical company. You will act as a trusted contact for managers and employees, supporting them in all HR-related matters – from operational topics through to strategic change processes.
In close collaboration with Global Compensation & Benefits, Recruiting, HR Services, and People & Organisational Development, you will ensure holistic and professional HR support for the business area. You will use Workday® as a management tool, advise managers on reporting and analysis options and support them in data-based decision-making.
In addition, you will contribute your experience in employment law matters and in working with employee representative bodies, confidently moderate challenging discussions and strengthen a constructive feedback and team culture. In your global role, you will actively maintain relationships with HR Partners in the countries, ensure targeted communication with relevant stakeholders and help shape the global HR agenda. In addition to taking ownership of HR projects, you will contribute to the further development of the international HR community through active networking and best-practice sharing, while supporting group-wide HR future topics.
Key Responsibilities
Supporting and advising managers and employees in the Commercial area on HR-related Business Partner topics
Contributing to the design and further development of the global HR agenda, as well as deriving and coordinating relevant HR initiatives at group level
Further strengthen international HR community through networking, maintaining internal platforms, best-practice sharing, and joint meeting formats on group-wide future HR topics
Advising managers on reporting options in Workday® and actively supporting the use of HR key figures to manage the business area
Ensuring constructive and trust-based cooperation with works council
Creation of HR Group guidelines for central HR topics together with the responsible HR departments in the Headquarters
Your Profile
University degree in business administration, psychology, human resources management or a similar field
Min. 8 years experience in HR corporate and international work
Sound knowledge of employment law and experience working with works council
Experience in global, cross-organisational HR collaboration
Ability to conduct challenging discussions, resolve conflicts and promote a constructive feedback and team culture
Cross-topical, international HR expertise, know-how in project and change management and organizational development
Very good knowledge of HR information systems, preferably Workday®
Fluent German and very good English language skills
Moderate willingness to travel
