Our Films Manufacturing Development Engineering team works hands-on in a fast-paced R&D environment to keep development moving, improve data quality, and support critical technology milestones. This role combines people leadership, operational ownership, and technical depth in thin films process development. You will lead a team across shifts, support daily execution in the fab, and help remove barriers that slow development. The role offers strong visibility, direct impact on R&D outcomes, and the opportunity to grow both people and processes.
Responsibilities:
- Lead shift-based execution for thin films process development and wafer flow
- Manage and develop engineers through coaching, mentorship, and performance feedback
- Partner with process, integration, and equipment teams to align priorities
- Ensure data quality, address customer concerns, and resolve yield and defect challenges
- Drive operational improvements using data science and AI-Enabled approaches
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field, or equivalent experience
- Experience in thin films process development including CVD, PVD, or related areas
- Demonstrated leadership in a technical or manufacturing environment
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Understanding of deposition physics, kinetics, or transport phenomena
referred Qualifications:
- PhD or MS or equivalent experience with 5+ years, or BS with 10+ years of semiconductor experience
- Deep knowledge of thin film deposition and related process technologies
- Experience in shift-based manufacturing or R&D environments
- Strong multi-functional collaboration and mentoring experience
- Experience Applying Artificial Intelligence to improve engineering workflows
