10 MONTH PART TIME SCHOOL NURSE 26-27 Year

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES 

2026-2027 SCHOOL YEAR -- 15 Hours per week  - School Nursing Program promotes optimal health of the school population through nursing assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Provides first aid illness
• Administer medications and treatments
• Conducts health screening and referral programs
• Carry out communicable disease control activities
• Promote safety
• Maintain accurate health records
• Provide health education and health counseling to individuals and or groups
• Participation on Planning and Placement Team, Student Assistance Team and other Interdisciplinary Teams
• Home visits
• Overseeing of School Health Aides, Nursing Students and or volunteers
• Communicates with community recourses as needed
• Develop and implement Individual Health Care Plans for students with special needs
• Other related duties and Public Health programs as assigned

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS 

• Registered Nurse with BSN OR Associates Degree with at least 15 academic credits in requires areas of study
• Must have 1 year of Nursing experience within the last 5 years
• 2 days per week (15 hours total)
