Overview

The following statements reflect the general duties considered necessary to describe the principal functions of the job as identified and shall not be considered as a detailed description of all the work requirements, which may be inherent in the position.

 

A Registered Nurse whom coordinates and manages the administration of direct and indirect patient care for the Emergency Department.  Will also serve as the coordinator for trauma patients and will monitor the care and outcomes of trauma patients.              

Qualifications

Education / Licensure / Certification:

 

·            Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and current licensure by the Alabama State Board of Nursing.

·            Minimum of 4 years RN experience.

·            Previous experience and demonstration of expertise in patient care.

·            Successful completion of ACLS (required), PALS (preferred), TNCC (preferred), ENPC (preferred). 

·            Management experience preferred.
