Location: Hoffman Estates, ILFacility: Ascension Saint AlexiusDepartment: Respiratory CareSchedule: Evening shift l PRNSalary range: $22.50 per hour
What You Will Do
- Clinical Care: Provide supervised evaluation and care for patients with respiratory insufficiencies within the student scope of practice.
- Treatment Administration: Administer prescribed medications and treatments, adjusting care based on clinical outcomes and patient response.
- Monitoring & Communication: Monitor, document, and communicate changes in patient condition to the care team, ensuring accuracy in all records.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and families on disease management, prescribed medications, and treatment protocols to support recovery.
What You Will Need
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Education:
- High school diploma equivalency OR Enrolled in accredited program specific to discipline required.
Additional Preferences
- Must be enrolled in accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
