Histology Technologist

Pay Range:

$26.80 - $40.20By evaluating and solving problems related to collection and processing of biological specimens the Histology Technologist plays a vital role on the laboratory team. The Histology Technologist performs a full range of laboratory procedures and evaluates new techniques and procedures in the laboratory to support the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Education

Bachelor's degree with 30 hours biology and chemistry and completion of NAACLS accredited histology technician program OR bachelor's degree with 30 hours biology and chemistry and 1 year full time experience in histopathology.

American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) Histology certificate or equivalent from a recognized accrediting agency.
