Job Description

As a Security Officer Access Control Post in Duluth, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a residential location, where you will monitor entry points, verify access, and support residents and guests with exceptional customer service and communication. You will remain visible, conduct routine activity throughout assigned areas, and help to deter security-related incidents. In our agile, reliable, and innovative team, you will put people first, work collaboratively, and act with integrity every day.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and/or visitors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points at a residential location, verify visitor authorization, and/or document arrivals and departures in accordance with community guidelines.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating security-related matters when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the community, common areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
