Job Description

As a Security Officer Overnight Front Office in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic retail location as a Front Desk Officer, where you will greet visitors, manage access, monitor cameras and alarm activity, and support security-related responses with professionalism and care. In this highly visible role, you will deliver outstanding customer service, use technology to document activity, and bring agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity to every interaction.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a busy retail location.
• Monitor access at the front desk, verify visitor and vendor information, issue credentials as required, and communicate entry procedures and site expectations.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details to management and/or emergency personnel when needed.
• Answer phones, greet guests, assist with directions and general questions, and document security-related events, visitor activity, and/or service requests in a clear and timely manner.
• Help to deter unauthorized access and policy violations through a professional front desk presence, attention to detail, and consistent application of site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
