Senior Accounting Manager
Location: Markham, ON
Full-Time | In Office
We're looking for an experienced Senior Accounting Manager to join a collaborative public accounting environment serving privately held businesses and individuals. This is an ideal opportunity for a seasoned CPA who enjoys leading client engagements, developing teams, and providing trusted accounting and tax advice.

What You'll Do
- Lead accounting, compilation, tax, assurance, and advisory engagements for private companies and individuals.
- Review files and ensure the delivery of high-quality client service.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships as a trusted advisor.
- Identify tax planning and business advisory opportunities.
- Mentor and develop team members while managing multiple client engagements.
- Contribute to practice growth through networking and business development.
What We're Looking For
- Canadian CPA designation is required.
- 10+ years of public accounting experience, with a strong focus on Canadian corporate tax and compilation engagements.
- Extensive experience advising owner-managed and private businesses.
- Experience with iFirm and CaseWare is required.
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage client relationships and mentor teams.
- Strong technical knowledge of Canadian accounting standards and tax regulations.
- Candidates living in or within a reasonable commute to Markham are strongly preferred.
- US CPA designation with experience in US personal tax is a strong asset.
