Reporting directly to Store Country Manager, you are accountable for PS Computing sales development, including Rev/OGM and the end-to-end alignment with relevant stakeholders (Category, Marketing, Credit & Collection, Content, Contact Center & Operations).
You will engage with local PS category, marketing and sales to:
Implement Store price positioning vs market within agreed price policy framework.
Define Store product offering, special offers / promotional calendar including quarterly vertical industry / outbound acquisition focus.
Ensure effective and creative execution of NPI demand generation & sales activities.
Secure & forecast product availability at LSP.
Participation in ONE HP Community and represent HP STORE interests.
Define quarterly Store PS marketing plan with the support of Marketing:
eDM planning and definition of quarterly baseline calendar. Adapt and track weekly based on priorities.
Guidance and direction for SEM campaigns defined product groups.
Strategic direction for affiliate initiatives to drive traffic, leads & sales on PS products.
Guide Merchandizing/Content team to execute on sales priorities:
Communicate sales calendar activities and coordinate tactical plans to enable the teams involved.
Define and adapt content roadmap for HP Store and align regularly with content team, so they can create execute & optimize aligned strategies.
Similarly, for the creation and optimization of online banner campaigns, microsites, promotional sites and closed community initiatives.
Define standards & structure of product content and monitor quality with support from Merchandizing/ Content team.
Define product sequencing / banners placement and drive data driven changes based on site traffic / conversion, top searched keywords, etc.
Define traffic / calls and conversion rates required to achieve sales targets.
Ensure HP Store integration in Marketing activities + online CTA to HP Store.
Monitor and maximize monthly traffic volume and quality, conversion rates and average order value.
Deliver reliable sales forecast for the quarter on a weekly basis (revenue, gpm, backorders and funnel).
Drive growth initiatives (CTO, Communities, SBSO verticals, HP Advantage, Financing etc.).
Engage with Contact Center team manager to execute on PS sales priorities.
Implement transactional / consultative selling model Define hunting / farming model and sales activities (outbound / vertical campaigns,).
Weekly review of Contact Center KPIs and commercial sales funnel (opportunities, quotations, win/loss ratio) with Contact team lead.
Education and Experience Required
University or Bachelor's degree preferred
At least 7 years+ of relevant experience in Category, Marketing or Sales Roles
Experience in selling to customers/partners in a complex environment
Knowledge and Skills Required:
Ability to create promotional plans
Take data driven decisions based on online sales KPIs
Ability to link interactive plans and activities to business results
Knowledge and understanding of interactive media, tools and technologies (all channels and pricing models)
Knowledge of direct marketing and Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
Ability to interact with all levels of the company top to bottom, including most senior company management
German mother tongue, fluent in English (oral and written)
Strong team player, “WILL TO WIN” and “CAN DO” attitude is a MUST.
High levels of tact and diplomacy
Applies basic foundation of a function's principles, theories and concepts to assignments of limited scope. Uses professional concepts and theoretical knowledge acquired through specialized training, education or previous experience. Responsibilities:
Supports sales by analyzing opportunities and communicating sales collateral within their area of focus.
Achieves assigned quota for assigned HP products services, and software.
Transactional selling working within a team of selling professionals.
Ensures sales process is compliant with legal and SBC practices.
Education and Experience Required:
University or Bachelor's degree preferred.
Typically 7 years+ of selling experience at end user account or partner level.
Experience developing positive relationships and solving customer problems.
Knowledge and Skills:
Basic understanding of pipeline management and relevant Online Sales KPIs.
Basic understanding of the IT industry, competing vendors, and the channel.
Basic understanding of HP's organization & operations, including key business rules, partner segmentation, key programs & initiatives.
Basic understanding of a specific set of HP's products, software, and services. Able to communicate the strengths of HP's offerings, and overcome objections.
Effectively sells HP offerings by building strong relationships, and promoting HP's strengths.
Partners effectively with relevant stakeholders to ensure coordinated, efficient account management.
