Marketing Activation Specialist
As a Marketing Activation Specialist, you will work in a global and matrix organization, collaborating closely with regional marketing teams, local stakeholders, Sales, and Customer Service functions.
In this role, you will be responsible for activating regional marketing initiatives in the Turkish market, ensuring local relevance while maintaining brand consistency across all touchpoints. You will act as the key link between local business needs and regional marketing activities, helping translate market insights into impactful campaigns and customer-focused initiatives.
Reporting to the Regional Marketing Planning and Activation Manager, CEE, you will become part of an international marketing team and contribute to supporting growth and developing the VELUX brand in Turkey.
What we are looking for
- Being responsible for managing marketing tasks related to specific target audiences: to Customers and Partners (installers, dealers, architects, PHBs)
- Being responsible for Brand guardianship - focus on Brand communication, brand identity, tone of voice, ensuring synergy in the brand communication
- Being part of regional project meetings (campaign, communication, promotion, always-on) and project-related approvals.
- Being an involved member of campaign adaptations, translations
- Understanding the company’s processes, and acting based on the process descriptions
- Understanding the market the Marketing Activation Specialist is responsible for
- Understand the trends, being up to date and informed about what is happening in the local market, and with the competitors
- Provide local-specific insights, representing the market knowledge and market-specific needs, ensuring local market relevance
- Regular communication with sales and customer service to gather insights (for example: field visits)
- Analyzing campaign results
- Coordination between the local and the regional tasks
- Budget: supporting the Regional Marketing Planning and Activation Manager, CEE with regular budget planning, spending tracking, updating, forecasting, and providing information about committed spending on a monthly basis.
- Being responsible for marketing activities to be compliant with GDPR
- Acting as a local privacy responsible (LPR) support colleague for the country, and managing the related tasks accordingly (participate in monthly meetings, and are responsible for marketing local activities to be compliant with privacy law)
- Managing sales support-related tasks, based on the agreement with the Regional Marketing Planning and Activation Manager, CEE, and the Market Director
- Further B2C- and B2B-related operational marketing tasks defined by the direct manager
What you will bring
- BSc in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or a relevant field
- At least 5 years of experience in the relevant field at a local or multinational company
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of online marketing and social media.
- Be able to build up a professional network and interact with many different stakeholders
- Solid time management and prioritization skills:
- MS Office proficiency
- Trade marketing competency (POS development management, event etc.)
- Good copywriting skills
- Being comfortable working with others
- Being self-initiator
- Speak and write English fluently
- Hubspot and Sitecore knowledge is a plus
- Having work experience with matrix organization is an advantage
