The Field Service Technician performs field installation and operational support for LCAC/SSC systems in support of the U.S. Navy’s Landing Craft, Air Cushion (LCAC) Amphibious Combat Vehicle (ACV) program on-base.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
· Perform field installation, alternation, repair, troubleshooting, deficiency correction
· In charge of check-out and operational support for all LCAC/SSC systems
· Supports field installations, alterations and troubleshooting
· Operational verification with at ACU/NBU or other government sites
· Perform routine work with limited to no supervision or instruction
· Ability to take on new assignments with general instructions
· Apply industry knowledge to various programs and projects ensuring successful completion
· Use knowledge of industry standard policies, procedures and practical applications to complete job tasks
· Other duties as related to the business functions of FWG Solutions, as assigned
Education:
· High School Degree Required
· Knowledge and training in mechanical, electrical, craft maintenance, Navy technical trainings, or equivalent
Licenses & Certifications:
· Active Secret Security Clearance or ability to obtain an interim clearance required
Experience:
· Five to seven (5-7) years of experience in similar position
· AIT installation experience required
· Connector, electrical, mechanical skills required
· Safety training experience required

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Ability to hold yourself and others accountable on short-term and long-term goals
· Ability to install, assemble, and configure new mechanical or refrigeration systems
· Ability to troubleshoot using diagnostic tools and techniques to identify and fix issues
· Ability to work independently and coordinate with general maintenance staff
· Ability to work with various levels of personnel
· Use of Microsoft Office software applications to include Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

· Ability to work onsite 5 days per week with additional hours, as required
· Travel-ready as required
