POSITION OVERVIEW
Heartline Staffing is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager for Trinity Electrical Services to build market presence, establish upstream relationships, and develop a measurable pipeline of electrical infrastructure opportunities throughout Florida.
This is a field-driven business development position for a high-energy professional who is comfortable meeting directly with owners, operators, engineering firms, prime contractors, general contractors, municipalities, transportation agencies, airport authorities, port authorities, and other public-sector and infrastructure stakeholders. The Business Development Manager will identify projects before formal procurement begins, develop trust with decision-makers and influencers, organize market intelligence, and convert early-stage activity into qualified opportunities.
This is not a passive account-management position. The successful candidate must be self-directed, persistent, organized, commercially focused, and willing to spend significant time in the field creating relationships and building a market from the ground up. The role requires the ability to represent Trinity Electrical Services professionally with senior stakeholders while maintaining disciplined follow-up, accurate CRM activity, and clear communication with estimating, operations, project management, and leadership teams.
• Develop Trinity Electrical Services' market presence throughout assigned Florida territories.
• Establish relationships with owners, operators, engineers, municipalities, general contractors, prime contractors, and public-sector agencies.
• Identify infrastructure projects and capital programs before formal bids, RFQs, or RFPs are released.
• Build trust with key decision-makers and project influencers throughout the procurement lifecycle.
• Generate new leads and convert them into qualified leads and actionable opportunities.
• Maintain visibility into upcoming capital projects, public bids, infrastructure programs, and market expansion opportunities.
• Attend customer meetings, industry events, pre-bid meetings, site visits, conferences, and market-development activities.
• Gather and organize market intelligence regarding customers, competitors, capital plans, procurement schedules, and project funding.
• Develop account and territory strategies aligned with company growth objectives.
• Maintain accurate CRM records for leads, qualified leads, contacts, activities, opportunities, forecasts, and follow-up commitments.
• Build a visible, measurable, and repeatable business-development pipeline.
• Provide leadership with clear updates regarding market activity, customer relationships, project timing, and opportunity progression.
• Coordinate closely with estimating, operations, project management, and executive leadership.
• Communicate project intelligence early enough to support bid strategy, staffing, pricing, and operational planning.
• Identify customer pain points and translate them into practical business opportunities.
• Support expansion into new geographic areas, customer segments, and specialized electrical infrastructure markets.
• Maintain disciplined follow-up with prospects, customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
• Represent Trinity Electrical Services professionally with technical, commercial, and public-sector audiences.
• Contribute directly to qualified pipeline growth, opportunity conversion, and revenue expansion.
COMPENSATION
• Competitive base salary starting at $150,000 or higher based on experience
• Performance-based bonus or incentive compensation
• Incentives tied to pipeline development, qualified opportunities, market activity, and revenue growth
• Vehicle allowance or company vehicle, as applicable
