This role is responsible for leading and developing a team of Operations Project Consultants within Retail Credit Operations (RCO), ensuring the accurate, consistent, end-to-end capture of current-state operational workflows across the organization. Key responsibilities include owning and enforcing a common standard of documentation syntax and methodology, managing team capacity and engagement assignments, and safeguarding the quality and fidelity of artifacts.
Job expectations include serving as the primary quality-control authority for current-state process capture while partnering with operational architects, transformation leaders, operational subject matter experts, and senior leadership across RCO to prioritize work, maintain consistency and accuracy, and feed a growing, high-integrity Process Object Library. The Business Strategy and Initiatives Manager balances people leadership, methodology governance, and delivery management, ensuring the team remains effective and that senior leadership remains engaged and informed.
Responsibilities:
Leads, coaches, and develops a team of Operations Project Consultants, managing performance, workload, engagement assignments, and professional growth across a cross-functional portfolio
Owns and enforces a common standard of documentation syntax and methodology, servicing as the primary methodological owner of the organizations process assessment function
Builds and administers the training and onboarding program that establishes process data mapping specialists to a high standard of consistency, developing curriculum, standardizing templates, and ensuring consistency as the team and process inventory grows
Establishes and maintains relationships with operational leaders and subject matter experts, positioning the team as a trusted, neutral support function and ensuring engagements are experienced as a strategic asset
Tracks and reports on team throughput, quality, and coverage, providing metrics and status to senior leadership
