About the role
Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, the Senior Buyer will play a critical role within our procurement team, working closely with manufacturing and suppliers to ensure cost-effective and timely acquisition of materials and services. This position requires strong negotiation skills, supplier relationship management, and procurement expertise to drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
This position is part of the Procurement Department, located in Hemet, CA, and will be Hybrid.

In this role, a typical day will look like
Managing purchase orders and supplier relationships to ensure timely and efficient procurement.
Negotiating favorable terms, volume discounts, and long-term contracts with suppliers.
Conducting supplier evaluations to ensure quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
Overseeing the receipt of purchased goods, verifying quality and resolving discrepancies.
Monitoring inventory levels and ensuring the optimization of procurement processes.
Supporting cost-reduction initiatives and supplier optimization strategies.
Ensuring compliance with licensing, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
Assisting with supplier audits, contract reviews, and procurement reporting.
The essential requirements of the job include
7 to 10 years of experience in Procurement or a related field.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel (basic level required).
Familiarity with ERP systems (Oracle is a plus).
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Ability to analyze and solve procurement-related challenges using structured processes.
Willingness to travel up to 5% of the time as needed.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
Work environment
The Senior Buyer will work in an indoor industrial setting, with good ventilation, adequate lighting, and moderate noise levels consistent with a manufacturing environment.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.
The compensation range for this role is $81,500 - $95,000 USD per year.We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
