Eaton’s Mobility Group is currently seeking a Corporate Accounting Leader - EMEA Mobility to join our team in Bilesko-Biała or Tczew, Poland.
## What you’ll do:
The Corporate Accounting Leader - EMEA Mobility will provide support for all Mobility ledgers related matters. This role will have a strong focus on compliance, standardization of financial processes within the division and will act as first level escalation for all corporate matters in the zone while working closely with GFSS, COE and finance teams.
- Principal responsibility for this position is to supervise all ledgers in the divisino developing a detailed understanding of the ledgers and acting as point of contact for all matters.
- Responsible for all reporting for the countries in scope and other compliance
- Act as first point of escalation for various matters ( special projects, SCM and PTP issues etc.)
- Ensure control environment. Adherence to all Eaton Policies, US GAAP, SOX and local statutory/tax compliance requirements must be maintained
- Partner with the business and finance organization to support all stategic initiatives in the region
- Partner with all COEs ( Statutory, Tax, Payroll teams) to help execute business strategies and build business acumen
- Support all strategic projects within the region such as tax, restructuring, payroll, system implementations, treasury and other ad-hoc projects
- Drive optimization through standardization, simplification and automation of financial processes within the zone, working closely with Controllership and COE teams to build out and achieve the most efficient and effective organization
- Support business & accounting and controls processes improvements and transitions
- Support all statutory, tax, customs and internal audits
- Support month end closing and monthly reconciliation activities
- Ethical standards must be maintained at all times
## Qualifications:
- Degree in Accounting or Finance, a Master's Degree (or professional qualification) is preferred
- 3+ years of relevant work experience in Accounting, Finance
- Experience managing a team
## Skills:
- Experience of finance/accounting within a multinational manufacturing environment
- Exposure to Sarbanes Oxley and US GAAP and local GAAP desirable
- Fluent in business English
- Ability to operate and deliver independently
- Self-starter with initiative and high learning agility
- Strongly invested in life-long learning
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong technical skills with a high business acumen
- Change management and continuous improvement mindset
