Facilities (WS&O) is a service department that is focused on providing the adequate conditions of equipment, systems, building, services, projects, and construction, to support the correct operation of the plant in a comprehensive way.
The WS&O Projects area is mainly focused on project planning and implementation, following the LEGO® Project Model methodology; ensuring that local and national guidelines and regulations, and LEGO Group standards are executed in a timely manner throughout the entire process of a project.

This function manages and leads projects that support the existing and future needs for facilities’ systems, technology, equipment, expansion and retrofit of existing assets. The role implies close collaboration and communication with all related departments, customers and stakeholders from LOM and global teams in a matrix environment.
Core Responsibilities:
Analyze the needs and requirements of Steering Committee for each project assigned, define the scope, objectives, purpose, stakeholders, and deliverables, develop the feasibility study and Business Case according with LEGO Project Model.
Develop and support the actions plans, establish priorities, and support the standardization of department including the development of procedures, processes, KPIs, standardized reports and metrics.
Management of stakeholders, prepare the communication and collaboration plans according with each phase of project assigned assuring the engagement of core team through developing contingency plans for minimize the impacts in the performance of each project assigned.
Responsible of contractors and suppliers performance, assure the best quality of deliverables according with LEGO Construction Standards, supervising, coordinating and delegating the right resources (internal and external), looking to eliminate any safety risk. Assure the correct follow-up to internal process (EHS, Security, Governance, Procurement, Legal, etc.).
Responsible of the compliance of the objectives defined at the beginning of project, assuring a clear and concrete communication for relevant stakeholders and Steering Committee, define and share the location of information repository (including engineering, submittals, transmittals, MoM, evidence of implementation project, punch list, commissioning, warranties, financial status, payments controls, lessons learned) to ensure proper handover to the receiving organization.
Responsible to define and create a temporarily organization; identify and solicit the needed resources (material, budget and labor) for the assigned projects, by defining the needed roles & responsibilities in order to achieve the objectives; includes partnering with Financial Controller to manage budget approval and control.
Do you have what it takes?
- Experience in Project Management.
- Experience in construction, managing industrial, equipment, systems, manufacturing facilities or infrastructure projects.
- Proven ability to work in a team-oriented environment; experience managing global projects with cross cultural collaborating participation; stakeholders and stream owner’s management and collaboration; experience leading multifunctional project teams.
- Experience of managing budget, costs, procurement procedures, project evaluation techniques and risk management.
- Experience of dealing with clients and suppliers.
- Experience of in civil construction of industrial buildings, installation of services (electricity, water, drainage, air conditioning, finishes), as well as special installations (access control, fire-fighting system, CCTV, voice and data).
- Fluent in English
- Management of computer equipment and programs (Office, Windows, SAP, AutoCAD, etc.).
- Structured and organized.
