  • EMI Pipe Processor
  • EMI Lightning Rail

This is an opportunity to build valuable skills in CNC programming, robotic cutting, automated fabrication, and structural steel production. If you enjoy technology, solving problems, working with your hands, and seeing the finished result of your work, this could be the career for you.

What You'll Do

  • Read and interpret shop drawings, cut lists, and production information.
  • Load machine programs and verify that dimensions and settings are correct.
  • Produce accurately cut and processed pipe, rail, and structural steel components.
  • Inspect completed parts to confirm they meet quality requirements.
  • Adjust machine settings and troubleshoot production issues.
  • Perform routine equipment inspections and basic preventive maintenance.
  • Track material usage and completed production.
  • Work closely with fabrication, quality control, and shop leadership.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
  • Become qualified to operate multiple machines based on production needs.

What We're Looking For

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort working with computers and technology.
  • Interest in CNC machinery, robotics, automation, or advanced manufacturing.
  • Ability to read measurements and use basic inspection tools.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate work.
  • Willingness to learn multiple machines and continue developing new skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot problems and make sound decisions.
  • Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work safely in an active steel fabrication environment.

Previous CNC, machining, fabrication, welding, or equipment-operating experience is preferred but we are also interested in candidates with the right mechanical ability, technical curiosity, and desire to learn.

Why Join Hanover Iron Works?

This is more than a traditional machine operator position. You will develop experience with automation and robotic fabrication technology that is reshaping the structural steel industry.

At Hanover Iron Works, you'll have the opportunity to:

  • Train on three specialized manufacturing systems.
  • Develop CNC programming and robotic equipment experience.
  • Build skills that can lead to greater responsibility and career advancement.
