In this role, you will provide direct nursing care and support to individuals experiencing mental health disorders and/or substance use disorders. You will assess client needs, administer medications, coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams, educate clients and families, and help create a safe, supportive environment that promotes recovery, wellness, and independence. Your clinical expertise and compassionate approach will play an important role in helping clients achieve their treatment goals while receiving high-quality, person-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate nursing care and support to individuals receiving behavioral health and substance use disorder services
- Assess clients' physical and emotional health needs and contribute to individualized treatment planning
- Administer medications and monitor client progress, responses to treatment, and overall wellbeing
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care
- Educate clients and family members about mental health conditions, treatment options, medications, and self-care strategies
- Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams regarding client status, concerns, and treatment recommendations
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with organizational and regulatory standards
- Promote a safe, supportive, and recovery-oriented environment that respects the dignity and individuality of each client
Education, Experience, and/or Credential Qualifications:
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Missouri
- Ability to provide nursing services in accordance with professional standards of practice
- Experience working with individuals experiencing mental health and/or substance use disorders preferred
