What this job involves

Security Operations Oversight

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of security personnel across all campus locations (e.g., main entrance, perimeter, dormitories if applicable, parking areas).

• Ensure consistent enforcement of access control protocols for staff, students, visitors, and contractors.

• Monitor CCTV systems, alarm systems, and other security technologies; ensure proper functionality and timely response to alerts.

Safety & Emergency Preparedness

• Develop, implement, and regularly update emergency response plans (e.g., fire, medical emergency, lockdown).

• Conduct regular drills in coordination with school administration, local authorities, and emergency services.

• Maintain up-to-date emergency contact lists and communication protocols.

Student & Campus Safety

• Patrol campus grounds during school hours and after-school activities to deter unauthorized access and ensure student safety.

• Respond promptly to incidents.

Compliance & Reporting

• Ensure all security practices comply with local laws, international school standards, and child protection policies.

• Maintain detailed logs of incidents, patrols, visitor entries, and security breaches.

Team Management & Training

• Train, and evaluate security staff; ensure they understand child safeguarding principles and professional conduct expectations.

• Foster a service-oriented, respectful, and vigilant security culture aligned with the school’s values.

Required Skills and Experience

• Good command of both written and spoken English and Cantonese,

• Holder of valid Security Personnel Permit & Quality Assurance System

• Compliance Certificate and Construction Industry Safety Training Certificate

• Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• High integrity, honest, dependable, respectful and responsible
