The Purchase District Health Department is accepting applications for a full-time Network Director for local consortium initiatives located at our District Office in Paducah, KY.If you have any questions or would like any more information about this job posting please contact Lisa Wise at [email protected].Description:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: project management for federal grants, consortium coordination, and community health (participates in planning goals and strategies to address health priorities of a community by representing the agency in community coalitions, inter-agency councils and other community groups and attends meetings relating to area of responsibility and maintains a collaborative relationship with health agencies). Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree from a college or university and have five (5) years of health related or education experience. A master’s degree, bachelor’s degree or professional license in health or human services fields will substitute for one (1) year experience that is required. Knowledge of technology and data management preferred.
Language skills: Applicant must possess the ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Applicant must possess the ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals; effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Mathematical skills: Applicant must possess the ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and the ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning ability: Applicant must possess the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Applicant must possess the ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Technology skills: Applicant must have at least an intermediate level of knowledge of Microsoft Suite particularly Excel.
Compensation: $27-$32 per hour based on experience.

Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, with some evenings and weekends. Must have reliable transportation. Travel required. Travel is reimbursed per Purchase District Health Department policies and guidelines.
