What you’ll do:

We are seeking a highly creative and experienced Senior Industrial Designer to join our Product Design team in Curitiba, Brazil. This role will focus on developing exceptional designs for major kitchen appliances for the North American market. The candidate will contribute to the evolution of our product portfolio while ensuring alignment with Electrolux’s brand vision and consumer expectations. The ideal candidate is passionate about industrial design, skilled in user-centered methodologies, and has a proven track record of delivering innovative, manufacturable designs.

In detail, you will:

- Lead the end-to-end design process for major kitchen appliances, from initial concept to final production.

- Collaborate with cross-functional product teams, including engineering, marketing, and manufacturing, to ensure design feasibility and alignment with business objectives.

- Develop and execute designs that adhere to Electrolux’s Visual Brand Language (VBL), ensuring consistency and market differentiation.

- Utilize user research, trend analysis, and competitive benchmarking to inform design decisions.

- Create high-quality sketches, 3D models, and prototypes to communicate design concepts effectively.

- Evaluate materials, finishes, and manufacturing processes to optimize cost, sustainability, and product aesthetics.

- Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and design practices to drive innovation.

- Mentor junior designers and contribute to fostering a creative and collaborative team environment.

As part of the culture of continuous improvement, you will be involved in Lean Thinking projects and activities (EMS/EAI).

Who you are:

- You have a degree or higher-level qualification in a relevant design or engineer

- Relevant experience in home appliance products or automotive industries with a proven track record of excellent design performance in previous positions.

- Exceptional portfolio showcasing innovative and user-centered product designs.

- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, SolidWorks, Rhino and KeyShot.

- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and cost implications.

- Excellent sketching, rendering, and 3D modeling skills.

- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.

- Experience applying AI tools and technologies to enhance the design process.

- Advanced English.
