Position Overview:
- Provide classroom coverage and support for infant/toddler classrooms during staff leave.
- Implement age-appropriate activities that support children’s developmental, social-emotional, and learning needs.
- Maintain a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment while following program policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with teaching teams and site staff to support daily classroom operations.
Qualifications:
- 12+ Early Childhood Education units, qualifying for Associate-Level Teacher status or higher
- 6+ Infant/Toddler units preferred
- Active California Child Development Teacher Permit with a minimum of 3 infant/toddler units required
- Minimum 6 months of experience working with infants and toddlers in a licensed childcare, Head Start, or early childhood education setting preferred
- Must be able to successfully clear the TrustLine background process
