Product Lifecycle Engineer/Mgr 4
Position Summary: The Product Lifecycle Engineer/Mgr 4 position is responsible for leading advanced product lifecycle management activities across multiple product lines within our semiconductor company. This position develops strategic portfolio management approaches, creates innovative lifecycle methodologies, and establishes governance frameworks that optimize business outcomes. The role requires expert-level understanding of semiconductor product lifecycle principles, specialized technical skills, and exceptional organizational abilities to drive the management of complex semiconductor product portfolios independently.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Portfolio Management (30%): • Develop strategic portfolio management approaches for semiconductor product families • Create innovative methodologies for optimizing product mix and lifecycle timing • Define portfolio governance frameworks that support business objectives • Establish portfolio analytics and decision support systems • Lead architectural decisions that impact multiple product generations and market segments
Advanced Lifecycle Management (25%): • Direct complex product lifecycle activities across multiple product lines • Establish advanced lifecycle management methodologies and tools • Develop optimization approaches that balance multiple competing business constraints • Create product transition strategies that minimize business disruption • Establish portfolio performance metrics and evaluation methodologies

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field (Master's or PhD preferred) • 8-12 years of experience in product lifecycle management, product engineering, or related role • Expert knowledge of portfolio management principles and practices • Extensive experience with advanced product lifecycle management methodologies • Proven track record of successful product portfolio optimizations • Demonstrated leadership on complex product management initiatives
