- Supervise the daily operations of the Medical Records department.
- Lead, coach, and support Medical Records staff.
- Maintain the accuracy, security, and confidentiality of patient health records.
- Oversee medical record retention, release of information, and legal record requests.
- Conduct medical record audits and monitor documentation quality.
- Collaborate with clinical, administrative, and billing teams to support accurate documentation and reimbursement.
- Coordinate Hospice Face-to-Face encounter schedules and patient recertification tracking.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, CMS, Medicare, and applicable state and federal regulations.
- Develop and improve departmental workflows.
Location: Bryan, Texas
Shift: Full Time, Monday through Friday

Requirements
- Experience in medical records, health information management, or healthcare administration.
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
- Hospice, home health, or post-acute care experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA and medical record documentation.
- Experience with Electronic Health Records systems and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent organizational, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
