Description
This role requires experience selling complex mission-critical technology solutions to the financial industry, including banks, capital markets firms and asset managers.
The ideal candidate combines outstanding business development and relationship management skills with the ability to navigate large, multi-stakeholder sales processes and deliver against ambitious revenue targets.
Business Development & Revenue Growth
- Develop and execute account strategies for assigned strategic accounts.
- Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities.
- Drive pipeline growth and manage opportunities through the full sales lifecycle.
- Consistently achieve or exceed annual booking and revenue targets.
- Build executive relationships with C-suite and senior business leaders.
Relationship Management
- Serve as a trusted advisor to customers and prospects.
- Expand existing client relationships through cross-sell and upsell initiatives.
- Coordinate executive sponsorship and customer engagement plans.
- Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline management
Strategic Selling
- Lead complex, multi-year software and SaaS sales engagements.
- Manage RFPs, commercial negotiations, and contract discussions.
- Collaborate with product, pre-sales, consulting, legal, and executive leadership teams.
- Develop compelling business cases and value propositions.
Market & Industry Expertise
- Stay current on regulatory reporting, risk, treasury, capital markets, and banking trends.
- Represent the company at industry conferences and customer events.
- Share market intelligence and competitive insights with internal stakeholders.
Requirements
Education Required: Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or marketing/sales
Experience Required: 10+ years of enterprise software or technology sales experience.
Proven success selling into financial institutions.
Demonstrated track record of exceeding annual sales quotas.
Experience managing complex sales cycles involving multiple decision makers.
Strong executive presentation and communication skills
Ability to travel as required (<20%)
This position will be located in Toronto and requires on-site work 3 days per week

The base pay range for this role is $106,000 - $148,000. In addition to base salary, Nasdaq provides a generous annual bonus/commission (short-term incentive), and equity (long-term incentive), comprehensive benefits, and opportunity for growth. Exact compensation may vary based on several job-related factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to: skill set, experience, education/training, business needs and market demands.
