Treatment Acceptance Specialist
Highland Dental, Liberty, MO
Are you the person in the room who isn't afraid to ask for the money?
We're looking for a Treatment Acceptance Specialist who thrives on presenting high-value treatment plans and closing them — not just scheduling them. This isn't an entry-level coordinator role. We need someone who's done this before, knows how to build trust fast, and isn't intimidated walking a patient through a $50,000 case.
What You'll Do
- Present comprehensive treatment plans to patients with clarity, confidence, and zero hesitation — including large case values
- Own the full case acceptance process from consultation through financial conversation to committed "yes"
- Build genuine rapport with patients so they trust the recommendation, not just the price tag
- Follow up relentlessly and strategically with patients who need more time to decide — most cases aren't accepted on the first conversation
- Track and report on case acceptance rates and follow-up outcomes
- Partner closely with clinical team to ensure treatment recommendations are presented accurately and persuasively
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience presenting and selling dental treatment plans (required)
- A confident, assertive presence — you're comfortable asking for significant financial commitments and don't shy away from the number
- Exceptional interpersonal skills — patients remember how you made them feel, not just what you said
- Outstanding follow-up discipline — you don't let opportunities go cold
- Strong patient/customer-focused mindset — you close cases because it's genuinely right for the patient, not just to hit a number
- Experience with financing/payment plan conversations a plus
What Sets This Role Apart
This is a role for someone who wants to be measured on results, not just activity. If you've been underpaid or underappreciated as a "coordinator" elsewhere and you know you can move the needle on production, we want to talk to you.
