Internal Auditor (BEAD)

[What the role is]

You will be involved in developing risk-based audit plans and designing of audit procedures.

[What you will be working on]

• Assist in the development of the risk-based audit work plan
• Design audit procedures with reference to industry best practices and standards
• Conduct construction and operational audits and assess the internal controls, as well as the reliability and integrity of business operations
• Provide value-added recommendations to improve the governance, risk management and control processes
• Engage and communicate with relevant stakeholders throughout the audit and conduct follow-up reviews on the implementation of corrective actions
• Communicate the audit outcome to Management
• Perform other duties as assigned

[What we are looking for]

• Background in Civil/Structural Engineering or related field, preferably with 3 to 5 years of working experience in internal auditing
• Proficiency in relevant auditing and data analytics techniques and softwares such as Tableau, Building Information Modeling and SAP
• Good working knowledge of internal auditing standards, risk assessment, and internal controls
• Knowledge of the emerging construction technologies, Workplace Safety and Health, and Environmental, Social, and Governance
• An inquiring mind, strong team spirit, dedication, integrity, ability to multi-task, and good time management skills, and innovative in applying new techniques in auditing
• Strong analytical, communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
