Clinical Lead (Clinical Trial Management) - Global Study Leadership

You'll provide clinical leadership across regional and global clinical trials, partnering with Project Leaders, sponsors and cross-functional teams to ensure studies are delivered with a focus on quality, patient recruitment, site performance and operational excellence.

What You'll Be Doing
As a Clinical Lead, you'll be accountable for the clinical delivery of assigned studies, ensuring recruitment, site performance, quality and operational objectives are achieved while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements and customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the clinical delivery of regional and global clinical studies, ensuring projects meet quality, timeline, recruitment and operational objectives
- Drive patient recruitment and site engagement strategies, ensuring enrolment targets are achieved and studies remain on track
- Partner with Project Leaders and cross-functional teams to drive study milestones, resolve issues and maintain operational excellence
- Provide leadership and guidance to clinical teams, supporting resource planning, training and project delivery
- Manage clinical risks, oversee quality standards and drive proactive mitigation strategies throughout the study lifecycle
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and alignment across study teams
- Support financial oversight of clinical delivery, including forecasting, budget management and identification of scope changes where applicable
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, knowledge sharing and the development of less experienced team members
- Support proposal development, bid defence activities and clinical delivery planning for new opportunities where appropriate
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Healthcare, or a related scientific discipline
- 5+ years of clinical research, monitoring, or clinical operations experience within a CRO, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology environment
- Strong understanding of clinical trial conduct, ICH-GCP guidelines and applicable regulatory requirements
- Experience leading clinical study delivery activities, including patient recruitment, site management and clinical quality oversight
- Proven ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams and manage internal and external stakeholders in a global environment
- Strong communication, problem-solving, organizational and decision-making skills
- Experience supporting project financial management and operational planning is desirable
- Passion for advancing clinical research and improving outcomes for patients worldwide
