What's the role?
As a Native and Social Campaign Manager, you will play a critical role in executing and optimising Paid Social and Native advertising campaigns across the News Corp network and off-network channels. Working closely with the Senior Native & Social Operations Manager and Digital Advertising Operations Director, you will help deliver high-quality, performance-driven campaigns that meet client objectives and business goals.
You’ll be responsible for campaign implementation, monitoring, reporting, and ongoing optimisation - ensuring operational excellence at every stage. As a subject matter expert in native and social platforms, you will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to troubleshoot issues, unlock efficiencies, and drive innovation in campaign delivery.
This role requires strong analytical and technical capabilities, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset. You will contribute directly to the wider team’s success, by supporting strategic initiatives, continuously improving workflows, and helping drive measurable results through data and insight.
Responsibilities
- Execute paid social and native campaigns across on and off-network platforms with high quality, accuracy, and timeliness, taking full ownership of setup, optimisation, performance tracking, and reporting.
- Partner closely with internal teams (Client PMs, Commercial Editors, Sales, Ad Product, Commercial Publishing, Production, Pricing, Tech Partnerships) to align on execution and offer strategic recommendations—even outside standard buying practices—to optimise client outcomes.
- Build performance dashboards and analyse campaign data to uncover trends, surface actionable insights, and continuously recommend performance and delivery enhancements.
- Maintain cross-platform integrity within internal systems, ensure process alignment, and proactively streamline campaign operations to build a more efficient, scalable function.
- Liaise with ad tech partners and vendors to resolve technical issues, optimise workflow efficiencies, and leverage evolving platform capabilities.
- Support the Senior Manager in managing delivery risks and revenue opportunities, while keeping pace with emerging media trends and competitor strategies to drive ongoing innovation.
Who are you?
- A highly analytical thinker with the ability to work across multiple data sources and identify actionable insights
- 3+ years of hands-on experience managing and scaling paid campaigns across major social advertising platforms, including Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, TikTok Ads Manager, LinkedIn Ads Campaign Manager, and Pinterest Ads Manager.
- Skilled in using multiple ad-serving platforms and familiar with common digital campaign management tools, complemented by strong Excel skills - including experience with macros and formulas for data manipulation and reporting.
- Proactive and detail-oriented, with a strong ability to create tools and processes that support data accessibility and independent insights for stakeholders
- Solutions-driven and confident in challenging inefficient workflows or outdated approaches to improve outcomes.
- Comfortable navigating and building strong working relationships within a matrixed, cross-functional team environment, while remaining exceptionally well-organised and able to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities in a deadline-driven setting.
