Job Description

As a Security Officer - Alarm Monitor in Tempe, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a healthcare location. You will conduct routine patrols, drive assigned patrol routes, monitor access points and alarm activity, report security-related concerns, and provide courteous customer service to staff and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to healthcare clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site policies, and report unusual conditions to appropriate personnel.
• Document incidents, patrol observations, and security-related concerns in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
