The role may translate complex requirements into actionable solutions, support strategic initiatives, and enable informed decision-making through data quality, visualization, and analysis.

What you'll do...

The Senior Manager, Data Analytics & AI Transformation is responsible for leading the development, maintenance and continuous improvement of data, analytics and AI-enabled tools that support Merchandising Operations. This role plays a critical part in modernizing how the organization operates, leveraging technology and analytics to simplify processes, improve productivity and enable faster, more informed business decisions.

The Senior Manager owns the ongoing performance, reliability and enhancement of existing Merchandise Operations tools, including forecasting and assortment planning capabilities. This includes ensuring tools remain accurate, relevant and effective as business needs evolve, proactively identifying opportunities to improve functionality, automate manual processes and enhance the user experience.

The role prioritizes initiatives based on business impact, scalability and efficiency gains, ensuring resources are focused on solutions that deliver meaningful value.

Acting as a critical link between business teams and Data/Engineering teams, the Senior Manager translates complex business needs into clear technical requirements and partners with engineering teams to design, develop, test and implement scalable solutions. This includes ensuring tools and reporting are accurate, actionable and aligned with how teams operate, while bridging technical capabilities with practical business applications.

The Senior Manager also champions the adoption and democratization of AI and analytics capabilities across Merchandise Operations. Rather than creating dependencies on a centralized team, the role focuses on developing reusable tools, enabling self-service analysis, and equipping associates with the knowledge and capabilities to independently leverage data and technology. This includes driving change management, sharing best practices and fostering a culture of innovation, continuous improvement and ownership.

This role may also support data quality, governance, and exploratory analysis activities. Responsibilities may include profiling and validating data, promoting data quality awareness, applying statistical techniques, and supporting compliance with data policies.
