Job Description

As a Security Guard - Airport Concourse, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. You will support a welcoming environment while responding to security-related concerns with professionalism and integrity. Pay Rate: $21.25 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, tenants, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at an aviation-related location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned areas, including public spaces, tenant areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, while providing courteous assistance and directions to visitors.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and patrol activities, and communicate relevant information to site management and/or emergency responders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
