Junior Campaign Manager – YouTube / Google Ads
Role Overview
We are looking for a junior campaign manager with hands-on knowledge of YouTube video advertising campaigns within the Google Ads platform. The candidate will support campaign setup, monitoring, optimization, reporting, and day-to-day campaign operations while working closely with senior team members and US-based stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and manage YouTube video campaigns in Google Ads based on campaign requirements.
- Assist with campaign targeting, budgets, bidding, audiences, and ad setup.
- Monitor campaign delivery, pacing, and performance on a regular basis.
- Perform basic campaign optimizations based on performance and delivery.
- Track and analyze key YouTube KPIs such as Impressions, Views, View Rate (VTR), CPV, CTR, Reach, and Frequency.
- Conduct campaign QA and identify setup or delivery issues.
- Troubleshoot basic campaign issues and escalate complex issues when required.
- Support campaign reporting, data validation, and performance updates.
- Maintain campaign documentation and ensure accuracy across campaign setups.
- Collaborate with senior campaign managers and internal teams to ensure smooth campaign execution.
- Work with US-based teams and support PST working hours.
Required Skills & Experience
- 1–2 years of experience in digital advertising, campaign management, or ad operations.
- Practical knowledge of Google Ads, preferably with YouTube/video campaigns.
- Understanding of basic digital advertising and YouTube campaign KPIs.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple campaigns.
- Good Excel/Google Sheets and reporting skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to work PST timings.
Preferred
- Prior experience working with US-based clients or teams.
- Experience with YouTube campaign optimization and troubleshooting.
- Google Ads certification is a plus.
Ideal Candidate
Someone who has a good foundation in Google Ads and YouTube advertising, is comfortable with campaign execution and data analysis, pays close attention to detail, and is eager to develop into an independent campaign manager.
One important point I'd keep in the JD: explicitly say “YouTube video advertising campaigns within the Google Ads platform.”
