As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, you will help maintain a welcoming, orderly environment by managing entry points, verifying credentials, monitoring access activity, and assisting visitors and employees. You will use computer or tablet systems to document security-related information, provide exceptional customer service, and help address concerns with professionalism. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production or distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and authorization, issue and collect visitor credentials, and maintain accurate access-related logs and records.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, denied-entry events, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, perimeter areas, parking areas, and restricted locations to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership regarding shift activities, incidents, and unusual conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
