Overview
Production Operator
Responsibilities
- Fill in QC-related checklists every 30 minutes and every hour.
- Ensures that the correct order for the day are packed - have to check for local/ export.
- Works at straw machine to ensure always filled and attaching straws to cartons.
- Ensure the multipacker correctly cluster 6-pack products, ensure the multipacker clusters sleeves and that the sleeves are correctly shrink-wrapped.
- Finally check the robot to ensure that the shrink-wrapped sleeves are packed on pallet.
- Inspect equipment for mechanical malfunction and report problems. Perform safety and loss control.
- Works as relief when Filler Operator goes for break.
Qualifications
- Matric
- Experience working in FMCG factory
- Knowledge of food safety and EHS standards
