Description

About the role

MicroNova’s Automotive Testing division is becoming part of BlueBinaries, and our activities in Germany and the Czech Republic will continue under the NovaBinaries brand.

Do you know automotive electronics inside out, and enjoy organising people and finding solutions together as much as hands-on technical work? We are looking for an experienced professional to join our on-site team at a customer in Mladá Boleslav, combining practical testing of vehicle electronic systems with coordinating a small team of engineers. You will be a key point of contact for the customer, responsible for organising the team’s day-to-day work and ensuring testing activities run smoothly.

Your mission

  • Team coordination: Organise the work of 3–5 test engineers, including colleagues from India, assign tasks and set daily priorities.
  • Customer communication: Act as the main point of contact for our major automotive customer, coordinating test activities, handling day-to-day issues and reporting results.
  • Technical testing and diagnostics: Alongside coordinating the team, take an active role in preparing test equipment and vehicles, working with ECUs, carrying out functional tests and analysing electronic system faults.
  • Planning and documentation: Plan and track tasks in JIRA, arrange cover for absent colleagues and oversee accurate records of tests, defects and technical documentation.
  • Onboarding and technical support: Help new colleagues learn the procedures and VW Group testing tools, and support the team in resolving technical issues.

Your profile

  • You have a technical qualification in electrical engineering, mechatronics, automotive engineering or a related field.
  • You have at least three years of hands-on experience with automotive electrical/electronic systems, vehicle electronics testing or work in a technical laboratory or workshop.
  • You can coordinate a small team, set priorities, resolve day-to-day issues and communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • You understand automotive electronics testing and diagnostics and are confident with measurement equipment, electrical circuits and CAN/LIN communication buses.
  • You have an excellent command of Czech and can communicate effectively in English or German.
  • You hold a category B driving licence and live within 120 km of Mladá Boleslav.
Experience with diagnostic and testing tools used in the automotive industry, test automation, Python, CAD systems or 3D printing would be an advantage.

Why choose Us

  • Technical expertise and team leadership: Combine your automotive electronics knowledge with coordinating and developing a small technical team.
  • Ownership and autonomy: Take an active role in organising the team’s work, shaping day-to-day project operations and communicating directly with the customer.
  • Time off and benefits: Enjoy five weeks of paid annual leave, a pension contribution and meal vouchers.
  • International collaboration: Join a friendly international team and work with colleagues from different countries and cultures.
  • Professional growth: Further develop both your technical expertise in the automotive industry and your team coordination and leadership skills.
