Manufacturing Press Technician BAE Systems | Radway Green | 12-Month ContractHourly Rate: £21.219 PAYE or £28.51 UmbrellaFull time on site Are you a time-served engineer with experience setting and operating power presses? We're looking for a Manufacturing Press Technician to join BAE Systems' advanced manufacturing facility at Radway Green, supporting the production of small arms ammunition on a modern, high-tech site. What You'll Be Doing Setting and operating power press machinery. Carrying out basic maintenance and troubleshooting. Performing press safety inspections and equipment checks. Supporting production, quality and efficiency targets. Identifying and resolving manufacturing issues. Driving continuous improvement activities. Maintaining high standards of safety and quality. What We're Looking For Time-served engineering apprenticeship (essential). Experience within a mechanical manufacturing environment. Previous power press setting and operating experience. Strong understanding of manufacturing safety procedures. Background in high-volume production environments. Desirable Press inspection certification/training. SPC and Keyence measuring equipment experience. SAP and Microsoft Office knowledge.
