Behavioral Health Practitioner / Clinical Trainee, Youth Day Treatment

Location: Crookston, MN
Schedule: Ideally 32 hours per week, Monday through Thursday
Pay: $23.66 to $28.75 per hour for practitioners. Clinical trainee starting salary is $62,400 annually at 40 hours, with a lower salary for 32 hours.

Healthcare Recruiters International is recruiting a Behavioral Health Practitioner or Clinical Trainee for Alluma’s youth day treatment program in Crookston, Minnesota.

This position offers the opportunity to support children with identified mental health needs while working with a multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in social work and experience working with children. Graduate level clinical trainees are also encouraged to apply.

About the Role

• Provide therapeutic skills and training services to children participating in a mental health day treatment program.
• Work alongside a multidisciplinary team to support children’s treatment goals.
• Participate in a year round program that provides a more intensive level of outpatient support.
• Work with children after school during the school year and earlier in the afternoon during the summer.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work or a related behavioral health discipline, with experience working with children and eligibility for the practitioner role.
• Alternatively, a graduate degree in a behavioral health discipline and eligibility to work as a clinical trainee.
• Interest in supporting children with more intensive mental health needs.
• Independent clinical licensure is not required.

Schedule and Compensation

• Preferred schedule is 32 hours per week, Monday through Thursday.
• Fewer hours may be considered.
• A 40 hour schedule may be available for the right candidate through additional Friday responsibilities.
• Practitioner compensation is $23.66 to $28.75 per hour.
• Clinical trainee starting salary is $62,400 annually for a 40 hour schedule. Compensation is adjusted for a 32 hour schedule.
