About the role: 

The Assistant Spa & Wellness Manager supports the leadership and operation of the Spa & Wellness division, including Spa, Salon, Fitness, and Retail activities. This role assists with team leadership, guest experience initiatives, operational standards, training, retail programming, and financial performance while ensuring Four Seasons standards are consistently maintained. This position reports to the Director of Spa & Wellness. 

  

What you will do: 

• Support the daily operation of the Spa, Salon, Fitness Center, and Retail Boutique 

• Lead, coach, motivate, and develop Spa & Wellness team members to ensure exceptional guest service and operational excellence 

• Maintain a visible presence throughout the operation while supporting guests and employees 

• Ensure all Spa & Wellness experiences align with Four Seasons luxury service standards 

• Support recruitment, onboarding, training, scheduling, and performance management for Spa & Wellness team members 

• Assist with retail promotions, special events, wellness activations, and seasonal programming 

• Monitor guest satisfaction and support service recovery efforts when needed 

• Maintain operational standards, facility presentation, cleanliness, and equipment readiness throughout all Spa & Wellness areas 

• Partner with resort departments to create personalized wellness experiences for guests 

• Support inventory management and ordering processes for retail products, amenities, and operational supplies 

• Assist with financial reporting, budgeting initiatives, and revenue enhancement strategies 

• Review departmental performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, guest satisfaction, and profitability 

• Ensure compliance with all safety, health, sanitation, and operational standards 

• Support strategic initiatives and special projects as assigned by Spa & Wellness leadership 

 

What you bring: 

• Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent hospitality, wellness, retail, or management experience 

• Previous management or supervisory experience within a luxury spa, wellness, hospitality, retail, or related environment preferred 

• Strong business acumen and understanding of luxury service standards 

• Excellent leadership, communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills 

• Passion for wellness, guest engagement, and team development 

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously 

• Experience supporting operational budgets, scheduling, and performance initiatives preferred 

• Ability to identify opportunities that enhance guest satisfaction and revenue performance 

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hospitality or spa management systems preferred 

• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English

Schedule & Hours: 

• Full-time leadership schedule required
