We are recruiting for a passionate and committed English Teacher to join a well-established secondary school in Essex on a permanent basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced teachers and ECTs looking to develop within a supportive and high-performing department.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality English lessons across KS3 and KS4

• Plan, prepare, and assess student work in line with curriculum standards

• Support student progress and attainment

• Contribute to departmental planning and development

• Maintain strong behaviour management and classroom control

 

Requirements:

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)

• Strong subject knowledge in English Language and Literature

• Experience teaching in a secondary school setting

• Ability to motivate and engage students
