You Know How To:
- Perform routine radiographic procedures across the main department and satellite locations while ensuring high-quality imaging
- Assist with fluoroscopic procedures and maintain clean, adequately stocked fluoroscopic and radiographic rooms
- Assess patient condition and comprehension, ensuring proper positioning, immobilization, and safe transfer techniques
- Adhere to ALARA principles and all hospital, departmental, and infection control policies to minimize radiation exposure and promote patient safety
- Accurately complete requisitions, verify patient identity using two identifiers, and confirm correct exam site and body part
- Maintain thorough and accurate records and complete assigned quality assurance tasks efficiently
- Operate all diagnostic radiographic equipment appropriately and report equipment malfunctions promptly
- Supervise and support the clinical instruction of student radiographers
- Maintain professional competency through continuing education and compliance with licensure and certification requirements

Requirements
You Have:
- Graduation from an American Medical Association–approved two (2) year Radiologic Technology program
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Staff Radiologic Technologist in a comparable hospital setting (preferred)
- Current New York State licensure in Radiologic Technology
- Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (preferred)
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
- Strong communication, time management, customer service, and basic computer/data entry skills
