About NGRAM Inc nGram is a mission driven startup based out of San Francisco. We are building a Life sciences focused conversational chatbot along with AI-powered datasets to advance Life Sciences research. We are an international team spread around the world.  About the role The difference you will make: Impact our users everyday by shipping features multiple times a day. Shape the early version of our product.Get to design and build large scale systems from ground up for a growing company.  Responsibilities: Use GPT/Mixtral models to develop chatbots and datasets from Public data.Build cutting-edge cloud-native infrastructure - real-time streaming engines (Apache Spark or similar), Scraping engines, Databases (BigQuery, Postgres or similar), and Analytics engines on top of Google Cloud Platform using Open source software.Deliver frameworks and platforms that are secure, efficient, mature, and highly available that abstract away infrastructure complexity.Optimize existing systems/services to improve performance and efficiency.Systematically improve availability by applying industry and distributed systems best practices.Work with other talented and friendly infrastructure engineers to build the foundation for Lifesciences data advancements over the next decade. Requirements: You are an expert-level engineer with Python.4-8 years of professional experience in a Backend Infrastructure role.A passion for AI and a good understanding of Python/Pandas/SQL.The ability to work proactively and collaboratively with the various people and teams.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and demanding environment.Excellent spoken and written English.Work with a globally distributed team of Engineers.
