GSF Properties Inc. is seeking a dependable and hardworking Grounds & Maintenance Technician II to join our team in Madera, CA. If you enjoy hands-on work, take pride in maintaining beautiful communities, and have apartment maintenance experience, we'd love to meet you!
In this dual-role position, you'll help maintain and improve our 81-unit apartment community by performing groundskeeping, completing service requests, assisting with apartment turns, and ensuring the property remains clean, safe, and welcoming for residents and visitors alike.
Your work will play a vital role in preserving the appearance, functionality, and overall success of the community while providing excellent service to our residents every day.

Compensation & Schedule:
- Pay: $22.50 per hour
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
- On-call rotation required as needed
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain community grounds, landscaping, parking areas, and common spaces.
- Complete work orders and resident service requests in a timely manner.
- Perform apartment turns, including painting, cleaning, and general repairs.
- Assist with plumbing, electrical, appliance, and general maintenance repairs.
- Maintain property curb appeal and cleanliness standards.
- Conduct routine inspections and identify maintenance needs.
- Assist with trash management and community upkeep.
- Support the maintenance team with preventative maintenance projects.
- Provide excellent customer service to residents and visitors.

Requirements
Job Requirements for Grounds Technician & Maintenance Technician II:
- Minimum 1-2 years of apartment maintenance experience.
- Experience with unit turns, work orders, and general apartment maintenance.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, painting, and general building maintenance.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to perform physical work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Basic computer skills and ability to navigate web-based applications.
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current automobile insurance required.
- Ability to participate in an on-call rotation as needed
- Able to work Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
