Location Overview:
Join our bustling Bromley office, situated in one of London’s greenest boroughs. Here you’ll find plentiful and easy commuting routes, with central London just 15 minutes away by train.
Role Description:
The Cash and Reconciliation team is responsible for the daily reconciliation of cash, transaction, and account activity across multiple systems and bank accounts. The role ensures timely identification, investigation, and resolution of exceptions while maintaining a strong control environment and supporting operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
Cash Management
Monitor daily cash positions and funding requirements.
Responsible for daily monitoring of the Leasing bank accounts, identifying and posting cash into the system of records and General Ledger via Manual Journal Entry.
Preparing and processing monthly direct debit collections files.
Reconciliations
Perform daily, weekly, and monthly General Ledger account reconciliations.
Investigate and resolve reconciliation exceptions within agreed service levels.
Escalate ageing breaks and high-risk items appropriately.
Maintain reconciliation records and supporting documentation.
Billing & Invoice Management
Generate, validate, and process customer billing and invoicing activities in accordance with contractual terms and service level agreements.
Process Improvement
Identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency gains.
Contribute to reducing manual intervention and operational risk.
What we are looking for:
Experience in billing, accounts payable & receivable and reconciliation processes required.
Demonstrated ability to leverage Microsoft Copilot and/or other approved AI tools to improve productivity, analyse operational data, streamline investigations, and support decision-making.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
