Capital Markets team:
The Capital Markets Operations Sr. Manager will be responsible for the end-to-end operational management of Plata’s capital markets instruments. This includes day-to-day oversight of facility operations, covenant tracking, lender communications, trustee coordination, reporting, and cash recycling processes. You will serve as the key liaison with external participants (admin agents, master servicers, trustees, backup servicers, and lenders) and help ensure operational excellence as we scale.
Challenges that await you:
- Debt Facility Management
- Oversee operational execution and administration of all secured and unsecured facilities (ABS, warehousing, private placements, bilateral credit lines).
- Ensure timely drawdowns, repayments, and compliance with all terms.
- Covenant Monitoring & Compliance
- Maintain centralized covenant trackers.
- Monitor triggers, eligibility tests, performance covenants, and deliver covenant reporting to stakeholders.
- Recycling and Collateral Optimization
- Manage daily/weekly collateral allocation and recycling processes to maximize borrowing base efficiency.
- Coordinate with internal analytics and risk teams to ensure optimal asset usage.
- External Relationship Management
- Act as day-to-day point of contact for trustees, agents, master servicers, and backup servicers.
- Coordinate periodic waivers, amendments, and operational requests.
- Reporting and Dashboards
- Own the preparation and timely delivery of monthly/quarterly reports required under each facility.
- Build and maintain dashboards to track facility utilization, headroom, and key metrics.
- Transaction Execution Support
- Assist in operational setup of new debt transactions, including onboarding new agents, servicers, and data/reporting workflows.
What makes you a great fit:
- 5+ years of experience in capital markets, structured finance, treasury operations, or middle-office functions in a bank, fintech, or NBFI.
- Strong understanding of debt facility structures (securitizations, ABS, warehousing, private credit).
- Familiarity with trustees, servicers, and investor reporting standards.
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills; experience with internal dashboards or BI tools is a plus.
- Fluent in English and Spanish is a must.
- AMIB 3 certification is a plus.
